The FSB reported on the detention of a transgender man and an LGBT activist from the Oryol region in the case of financing the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is reported by TASS and RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the department.
The agencies published a video showing two FSB officers detaining an activist at the entrance. According to RIA Novosti, he is charged with an article on high treason.
The security forces claim that the activist was a volunteer of the OVD-Info project. “The administrator of the thematic anti-Russian information resource made a non-cash money transfer to the settlement account of a financial institution of Ukraine in order to provide financial assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the FSB said in a statement.
