The person involved in the first case in Russia on evasion of mobilization sued 20 thousand rubles for illegal criminal prosecution

The Penza District Court satisfied the claim of local resident Maxim Moiseev, the defendant in the first case of evasion of mobilization, and decided to pay him 20,000 rubles for illegal criminal prosecution. This is reported by the project "Military Advocates"

Ambulance driver Maxim Moiseev was detained this autumn and placed in a temporary detention center for two days after he twice refused to appear at the military registration and enlistment office on the agenda. The first summons was brought home to Moiseev when he was at work. Then the district police officer came to him with a summons.

A criminal case was opened against Moiseev under the article on draft evasion. On October 6, the prosecutor's office of the Penza region canceled the decision to initiate a case, concluding that there was no corpus delicti in Moiseev's actions. The head of the regional department of the UK was brought to disciplinary responsibility.

Moiseev filed a lawsuit for moral damages, which he estimated at 300,000 rubles. The court issued a decision on compensation in the amount of 20 thousand rubles, which Moiseev intends to appeal.
