Media: Arrested administrator of the Telegram channel “Kremlin laundress” turned out to be an FSB colonel from the Office for the Protection of the Constitutional Order

The administrator of the Telegram channel “Kremlin Laundress” Mikhail Polyakov, who was previously arrested under the article “extortion” (by a group of persons or on an especially large scale), turned out to be an FSB colonel who worked in the Office for the Protection of the Constitutional Order of the FSB in Moscow and the region. This is reported by "Important Stories" with reference to a source close to the special services. According to the publication, he held this position until 2022.

According to an interlocutor of Important Stories, Polyakov oversaw pro-government telegram channels in agreement with Sergey Kiriyenko, First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation. The former FSB colonel worked together with Alexei Goreslavsky, head of the Internet Development Institute and former head of the Dialog ANO. Structures under the leadership of Goreslavsky were engaged in promoting the Kremlin agenda in the media and social networks.

According to the source of the publication, Polyakov was arrested because he began to "do business" in the pro-Kremlin telegram channels without the consent of the leadership. By decision of the Tverskoy Court of Moscow, Polyakov was sent to a pre-trial detention center.

The detention of Polyakov became known the day before. RBC wrote that Polyakov is a former FSB officer. According to 112, he is also associated with the Siloviki and Brief Telegram channels. Baza claimed that he was also involved in the administration of the Nezygar channel and Telegram channels called him “Uncle Misha FSB“.
