Stanislav Zharin, deputy coordinator of the Polish intelligence services, stated on his Twitter account that Wagner PMC mercenaries arrived in Belarus:
“According to intelligence reports, the Wagner group has arrived in Belarus. These Russian criminals and thugs will now train the Belarusian army and will be located in the places of deployment prepared for them.”
We are talking about "several hundred mercenaries." Zharin also said that the Polish special services are monitoring the situation in order to know exactly how many "Wagnerites" will end up in Belarus. He noted that the final scale of their presence in the country is still unknown, but "the Russians will use" them, "as they do all over the world."
Earlier, the State Border Service of Ukraine announced that the Ukrainian border guards managed to record the movement of Russian mercenaries to Belarus. It was about "separate groups" that are moving from the territory of Russia. Ukrainian border guards continue to monitor the situation in order to detect their locations, numbers and identify the tasks assigned to them.
