President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the Russians, who are subject to mobilization, and listed them options for action "in order to survive." The appeal was published in the Telegram channel.
“I will explain to the Russians in Russian what is happening. 55 thousand Russian soldiers died in this war in six months. Tens of thousands are wounded, maimed. Want more? Not? Then protest. Fight. Run away. Or surrender to Ukrainian captivity. These are the options for you to survive.”
The President of Ukraine noted that protests against mobilization took place in Russian cities, “even if not massive ones”: “We see that people in Dagestan, in Buryatia, in other national republics and regions of Russia understand that they were simply thrown. Thrown to death." Zelensky added that one person in Russia decided this for all citizens. But, according to him, the Russians are accomplices in all these crimes, murders and torture of Ukrainians, because "they were silent and are now silent." Now the time has come for the Russians to make a choice, the President of Ukraine believes.
Zelensky called Putin's decision to mobilize a recognition that the regular army of Russia, which "had been trained for decades to capture someone else's", could not stand it and crumbled. According to him, now the war for the majority of Russian citizens is not a broadcast on television or on the Internet, but something that has entered every home. Zelensky stressed that the leadership of the Russian Federation is responding to the fact of Ukrainian strength: changing tactics and trying to involve even more Russian citizens and resources in the war.
“For the men of Russia, this is a choice: to die or live, to become a cripple – or to remain healthy. For the women of Russia, this is a choice: to lose forever their husbands, sons, grandchildren – or still try to protect them from death, from war, from one person.

Now, according to experts, Ukraine will have reason to demand that Western countries introduce new sanctions against Russia.
