As a result of Russian shelling of Ukraine on October 10, 11 people were killed, including 41-year-old police colonel, head of the Cyber Police Department Yuriy Zaskoka. This was announced by the head of the National Police of Ukraine Igor Klymenko on Facebook.
87 people were also injured in the attacks. According to Klymenko, Zaskoka was driving along Shevchenko Boulevard to work during the impact.
“The most massive shelling of Ukraine: Russia continues to show the world its terrorist essence. About 70 facilities are known to have been damaged, of which 29 are critical infrastructure facilities, four multi-storey and 35 private residential buildings, as well as a school in the capital.”
The head of the National Police added that now mobile forensic laboratories are involved in documenting the war crimes of the Russian Federation. In cities, there are police posts on the roads where citizens can turn for help.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with permanent members of the Russian Security Council, said that strikes in Ukrainian cities were carried out "on energy facilities, military command and communications."
On the morning of October 10, Russia launched a massive shelling of Ukraine. Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar, citing the General Staff, said that 83 missiles were fired at cities, 43 of them shot down air defense systems.
