Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Family, Women and Children Nina Ostanina said that the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, who sent three minor sons to the war in Ukraine – 16-year-old Akhmat, 15-year-old Eli and 14-year-old Adam, is a good father. She told Rise that the Chechen Republic is “special” and the culture of upbringing is different there.
“I think Kadyrov is a good father. If you can blame him for anything, it's not for this. I think he is responsible for his actions towards children. The Chechen Republic is special, and the culture of education there differs in its traditions from our purely Russian culture, so it seems to me that Kadyrov knows that his children are under his care and under his control. I wouldn't interfere in internal affairs."
According to her, by his example, Kadyrov wants to make "other dads who call themselves patriots" think about where their "advanced children" are.
Earlier, Kadyrov wrote that during his stay at the front, his sons were at the location of the West-Akhmat battalion of the Russian Ministry of Defense, where, together with the fighters, "took part in a special operation to eliminate the enemy fortified area."
“As a result, another captured position, an enemy detachment destroyed and six captured Ukrainian servicemen. There are no casualties on our side."
Before that, he showed a video from Mariupol, where his children are standing with small arms in their hands.
Since the beginning of Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Kadyrov has supported the actions of the Russian authorities and the statements of Vladimir Putin, commenting on them on a Telegram channel with more than three million subscribers. In September , Kadyrov called for "self-mobilization" in all regions of Russia. Almost a week later, on September 21, Putin announced a "partial" mobilization in the country.
