Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba responded to statements by Russian propagandist Anton Krasovsky. On RT, Krasovsky, in a conversation with science fiction writer Sergei Lukyanenko, said that Ukrainian children who believe that the territory of Ukraine is occupied by Russia should be drowned in the river or burned alive.
Kuleba posted on Twitter a link to an excerpt from RT and called for the channel to be banned worldwide.
“Governments that have not yet banned RT should watch this excerpt. That's where you're on if you let RT work in your countries. Aggressive incitement to genocide (we will judge this man for it), which has nothing to do with freedom of speech. Ban RT worldwide!” Kuleba wrote.
Krasovsky also said on the same air that Ukraine “should not exist at all.” Lukyanenko objected to this that Ukraine should exist, because "there will be a large number of people with whom I would not want to live in the same state." “Well, we’ll shoot,” Krasovsky answers.
In July, Krasovsky, a propagandist for the Russia Today channel, published a recording of his trip to eastern Ukraine and lamented that “Vinnitsa is not enough.” The day before, Vinnitsa had been shelled by the Russian military. Artillery hit the center of the city, dozens of people were killed.
In early March 2022, the European Union and Canada banned RT and Sputnik from broadcasting on their territory. The US division of RT has ceased operations. At the same time, broadcasting continues, in particular in Arabic and Spanish.
