“Unfortunately, due to missile and kamikaze drone strikes by the Russian Federation on our energy system, we have suspended this process. But I am sure that we will restore everything, and in a calmer time, when the situation in our energy system is stabilized, we will continue exporting electricity to Europe.”
As of October 18, 30% of power plants in Ukraine were destroyed , Zelensky said.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the infrastructure of the settlements of Veselaya Dolina, Dry Pond, Zaitsevo, New York, Kostromka, Pervomayskoye, Belogorovka, Kam, Stepnoye, Maly Shcherbaki, Belaya Krinitsa, Yuryevka and Mirnoye was damaged from air strikes and shelling of MLRS.
