In recent months, dozens of videos have been published on social networks with indignant mobilized from different cities of Russia. Most often, they complain about the poor attitude of the command, the lack of uniforms and the promised payments. In one of the latest videos in early November, more than 100 mobilized from Chuvashia at the training center in Ulyanovsk complained about the lack of promised payments (195 thousand rubles).
Mobilized from Bashkortostan also recorded a video message to officials, where they complained about the "very meager" conditions in which they were left by the command. In the video, they stated that they were left without water and food. After recording the complaint, they were sent to the front without preparation. On October 5, a video appeared on social networks with indignation of mobilized Russians in the Belgorod region. The men were given decommissioned cartridges and weapons from the 1970s, they themselves are not assigned to any unit and have been living for a week without material support.
Since the beginning of Putin's announcement of a "partial" mobilization, the authorities have denied reports of a shortage of equipment for the mobilized. At the same time, even on the government resource, conscripts are advised to take quadrocopters and night vision devices with them to the military unit, and in some units they are urged to buy bulletproof vests and dressings in advance, they are even allowed to take sanitary pads instead. The Insider found that the wives of mobilized Russians are discussing in Telegram chats that it costs about 150,000 rubles to assemble a husband for war. Women are outraged that they have to spend the family budget on this.
