The death toll from the explosion on Sakhalin has increased to 5 people. Among them is one eight-year-old child.
In addition, during the analysis of the rubble, one firefighter was injured – a piece of slab fell on his head.
Local authorities report that, according to preliminary data, the cause of the explosion in a residential building on Sakhalin was improper storage and operation of domestic gas cylinders.
