The case of Sergei Furgal, the former governor of Khabarovsk Territory, will be heard in Moscow Region

The Supreme Court of Russia transferred consideration of the criminal case of former Governor of Khabarovsk Territory Sergei Furgal to the Moscow region.

The court granted the request of the General Prosecutor’s Office to transfer the case to the Lyubertsy City Court of the Moscow Region.

In addition, the court also granted the prosecutor’s petition to extend the preventive measure for six months for all those involved in the case.
