Petersburger Sergei Vasiliev was sentenced to a year of restriction of freedom for inscriptions glorifying Ukraine. He was found guilty of vandalism, motivated by political hatred, over slogans on a playground, a trash bin, and the facade of the building of the Kuznetsov Naval Academy.
A man will not be allowed to leave his house from 23:00 to 5:00, leave his municipal district, and participate in mass events without permission. It is reported by "OVD Info". The decision was made by the magistrate of the court district No. 164 of the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg.
According to investigators, Vasiliev wrote the slogans on May 2, 2022 with a spray can. On the playground, he wrote “Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!". In May, he was sent to a pre-trial detention center, but later released on bail.
