On the territory of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic, the blocking of the search engine Google, Viber and Zoom began, as well as the slowdown of YouTube. The corresponding order was issued by the local "Ministry of Communications". This is reported by Vedomosti with reference to sources and the order issued by the "authorities". A copy of it is at the disposal of the publication.
The order was issued back in October, but the actual implementation has only just begun. Failures at Google began not only in the work of the search engine – the owners of gadgets on Android now cannot install applications from Google Play. Access to services, most likely, began to be limited at the level of the main operator in the "DNR" – the company "Uglelecom".
The services are "included in the digital pool of operational data of the US National Security Agency," the former "Minister of Communications of the DPR" said.
