Yevgeny Prigozhin refused to demand that The Insider and the editor-in-chief of the publication Roman Dobrokhotov, as well as journalist Denis Bilunov, remove and refute information about his connection with the Wagner PMC from the Mazai investigation – the African Wagner. Who manages the affairs of Prigozhin on the Black Continent . This was reported by lawyer Anastasia Burakova.
Earlier, Yevgeny Prigozhin massively filed lawsuits against the media, demanding to refute the information about his connection with the Wagner PMC.
In January, Prigozhin dropped similar claims in court against Alexei Venediktov, editor-in-chief of Ekho Moskvy:
“There was a time when I had to go and sue Venediktov and others, because there was a secret need to say that Wagner PMC does not exist. First, because the work that Wagner PMC did could not always be public. Second, because Wagner PMC, both in Russia and abroad, has always had many enemies and envious people. <…> Today, when the regime of silence on the Wagner PMC has fulfilled its task, I am pleased to present Comrade Venediktov with victory in this court. And if there is a desire, then to all those from whom I won them.
However, the court did not review Prigozhin's claim against Venediktov, despite the fact that the founder of the PMC himself admitted that he was wrong.
In February, Prigozhin confirmed that he is the creator of the Internet Research Agency, which is called the "troll factory" in the media. Employees of this organization were engaged in writing propaganda posts. At the same time, earlier Prigozhin also sued the media, which called him the founder of the Internet Research Agency.
“I have never been just the financier of the Internet Research Agency. I invented it, I created it, I managed it for a long time. It was created to protect the Russian information space from boorish aggressive propaganda of anti-Russian theses by the West,” Prigozhin said.
