In Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don and Voronezh canceled the concerts of the group of the Russian group "Grot". The musicians reported this in their group on VKontakte. According to them, they were at a concert venue in Krasnodar, and an hour before the performance, "there was a call to the director of the club." After that, they were forced to cancel the next three concerts. “What will happen next is very difficult for us to predict,” the group members said.
Grotto opposed the war in Ukraine even before the start of a full-scale invasion. In 2015, their track "Smoke" was recognized as extremist. After February 24, 2022, the musicians recorded the anti-war track “Spring Explode”. The text of the song is narrated on behalf of the parents of a child living under shelling. Previously, the group has already postponed their concerts due to pressure from the organizers.
Also in Krasnodar, the concert of the Shortparis group was canceled earlier. "The concert has been canceled due to reasons beyond the control of the band and organizers," the band said in a statement. At the same time, the group members did not speak out about the war in Ukraine.
