Political prisoner Mikhail Krieger disappeared from SIZO-2 Butyrka. SOTA was told about this by his daughter Ekaterina. Her uncle Pavel Krieger sent a letter to his brother, but received a notification that it could not be delivered, since the addressee was no longer listed in SIZO-2. Krieger's lawyer Mikhail Biryukov had previously received a letter from his client, in which he informed about the transfer. At the same time, the details of Krieger's movement are unknown.
Mikhail Krieger is a Moscow social activist, a former deputy of the Tagansky District Council of the city. In the fall of 2022, he was detained because of a Facebook post published “no later than December 2020.” In it, Krieger allegedly justified the actions committed “in 2018 in the city of Arkhangelsk and in 2019 on the territory of Moscow.” Probably, we are talking about the self-explosion of Mikhail Zhlobitsky in the FSB building in Arkhangelsk and the shooting near the FSB building in Moscow, arranged by Yevgeny Manyurov. On November 5, he was sent to a pre-trial detention center for two months on charges of “justifying terrorism” (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).
The activist was later aggravated by the addition of an article about inciting hatred or enmity because of a post in which he calls Vladimir Putin a “GB nit” and talks about his future hanging, which is called a “spiritual event.” In January, the investigation charged Krieger in the final version.
