In the Sverdlovsk region, a 15-year-old teenager was charged under Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (training for the purpose of carrying out terrorist activities), which provides for from 15 years to life imprisonment. According to Baza, the reason was the texts found on him with instructions for making explosives and tactics for carrying out terrorist attacks.
Also, during the search, which took place in April, a certain “Guide to Basic Military Training” was confiscated from the student, and subscriptions to “extremist” channels were found on the phone. According to investigators, the teenager began to study "extremist" literature since October last year.
The schoolboy was detained by the FSB, and on June 9 a criminal case was opened. The teenager was released on bail.
In February last year, a teenager from Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Nikita Uvarov, was sentenced to five years in real life under Art. 205.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. At the time of his arrest in the summer of 2020, he was 14 years old.
