The Defenders of the Fatherland Support Fund, which was created on behalf of Vladimir Putin, distributed the funds allocated to it from the Russian budget. According to the project of his expenses, 97% of them will go to the salaries of employees, organizational expenses and technical equipment, Vedomosti reports .
On June 13, the government of the Russian Federation allocated a grant in the amount of 1.314 billion rubles for the activities of the fund. Most of this amount, 1.085 billion rubles (82%), will be used to create the organization's salary fund. 44.3 million rubles will be allocated for the “formation of information infrastructure”.
At the same time, 3% of the total amount of the grant, that is, 40 million rubles, will be sent to help citizens. But out of this amount, only 25 million will go specifically to provide psychological assistance, and another 15 million will be directed to the implementation of "publicly significant projects."
On February 21, Putin proposed the creation of a fund to help the soldiers who returned from the front, as well as the families of those who died in the war. According to his idea, each family of a serviceman and each veteran would be assigned a “personal” social worker who would solve their problems in real time. The list of these issues, in particular, included prosthetics, medical care and the adaptation of the military to civilian life.
