In the Moscow region, an employee of the registration department of the traffic police (MVD) Roman Strelkov, while driving a car, knocked down a cyclist on the road. Instead of helping, he stabbed the victim and left, writes Baza.
According to the channel, Strelkov lost control and drove into the oncoming lane, where he knocked down a cyclist. After that, he stopped, got out of the car, approached the victim and stabbed him in the stomach. Strelkov then returned to the car and drove on without calling an ambulance.
Updated : Baza later clarified that the Interior Ministry officer attacked the cyclist because of broken glass: “After the accident, Strelkov became very angry because of the damage to the car – his windshield was broken.”
Passers-by noticed the wounded cyclist, after a while an ambulance came and took him to the nearest hospital. The victim was diagnosed with a penetrating wound of the liver.
A few days later, investigators located the driver and detained Strelkov. A criminal case was opened against him under the article on intentional infliction of grievous bodily harm. Now he faces up to 10 years in prison.
