Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that since the "partial" mobilization announced by President Vladimir Putin, more than 200,000 people have arrived in the Russian Armed Forces. He is quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to Shoigu, their training takes place at 80 training grounds and six training centers. After combat coordination, the mobilized will be sent to the areas of the "special operation" along with the units already involved there, the minister added.
Shoigu also claims that the current conscripts will go home after demobilization, and those recruited in the autumn draft will be sent to units not involved in the war in Ukraine (which both Shoigu and the authorities continue to call a special operation).
On September 21, Vladimir Putin announced a "partial" mobilization, after which Shoigu promised to mobilize "about 300,000 reservists." However, summonses are handed out to almost everyone in a row, and sometimes they even try to hand them to people who died many years ago.
