Putin ordered to pay 50 thousand rubles to defenders and residents of besieged Leningrad

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on a one-time payment of 50,000 rubles to those who have been awarded the medal “For the Defense of Leningrad” or the badge “Resident of the Siege of Leningrad”.
Money can be received not only by blockade survivors from Russia, but also from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Transdnistria.
