A court in Vladivostok fined activist Gia Kakabadze 40,000 rubles for a poster with a quote from the leader of the DDT group, Yuri Yuri Shevchuk, “Motherland is not the president’s ass.” This is reported by the project "Network Freedoms" in the Telegram channel.

The activist was found guilty of disseminating information expressing “clear disrespect for society and the state” (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The defense plans to appeal the decision.

Speaking in court on the side of the prosecution, Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy and Legal Psychology of VSUES, Ph.D. n. in Religious Studies, Nadezhda Oleshkevich was able to convince the court that the public use of the word “f * pa” (with an asterisk) is associated with the personality of “Russian President Vladimir Putin as a representative (symbol and personification) of state power.

On July 15, the Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg again registered an administrative case on “discrediting the Russian army” against Shevchuk. On July 18, the court again sent the materials to the Sovetsky District Court of Ufa, the police drew up a new protocol. There is no written request for consideration of the case at the place of residence in the case file. As Fontanka writes , Shevchuk's rights, including the right to file petitions, were not explained, whether he saw the papers is not mentioned in the materials.

On May 18, Shevchuk, during a concert in Ufa, delivered a speech: “Motherland, friends, this is not the president’s ass, which must be procrastinated and kissed all the time. Motherland is a beggar grandmother at the station selling potatoes. This is the motherland." After the speech, the security forces came backstage and did not let Shevchuk go for two hours. As a result of the conversation, a protocol was drawn up against the musician under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation - on discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. Shevchuk himself commented on the incident with the words: “Come on, why are you soaring?! The concert was wonderful. But situations are different."
