Sasha Skochilenko, an artist from St. Petersburg, who was arrested for an anti-war rally, needs an urgent heart examination. Her health deteriorated in the SIZO. Lawyer Yana Nepovinnova, in an interview with The Insider, noted that the court refused to accept the conclusion of a cardiologist. In conclusion, the doctor notes that Skochilenko needs an urgent examination.

The artist's support group posted on social networks a request to send appeals to the commissioners for human rights.

It is noted that Sasha's life depends on the examination, and in the pre-trial detention center the conclusion of the cardiologist and the artist's appeal are also ignored.

On July 22, the St. Petersburg City Court considered the complaint against the imprisonment of Sasha Skochilenko. She has serious health problems: congenital heart disease, gluten intolerance and bipolar disorder. In her last speech, Skochilenko talked about daily stomach pain and serious heart problems. Sasha asked the judges to think about the harm that her stay in the pre-trial detention center brings her and release her under house arrest. But the complaint was rejected.

Skochilenko, who faces up to 10 years in prison, was detained on April 11 in the evening, before that her house was searched. According to investigators, on March 31, 2022, Skochilenko spread information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the Perekrestok store. The artist is accused of leaving messages on the price tags in stores about those killed during the shelling of the Mariupol Drama Theater. The investigator considers the disseminated information to be false, and the action itself was committed based on political hostility, write "Network Freedoms".

The ICR claims that Skochilenko "was aware of the real state of affairs in the theater of operations."

Rotunda wrote earlier that employees of St. Petersburg supermarkets began to complain to the police about activists who change price tags for anti-war notes.

In particular, according to the Telegram channel, the management of Pyaterochka ordered its employees to watch CCTV footage and “hand over the scoundrels to the appropriate authorities.” A Lenta customer was taken to the police station and fined after she photographed an anti-war sticker in the store.

Article 207.3 was included in the Criminal Code in March 2022 as part of the tightening of legislation in response to anti-war speeches and statements, as well as the dissemination of information about the war that does not come from official Russian sources.
