The head of the Kosovo Interior Ministry, Celal Shvetsla, announced the detention of Komsomolskaya Pravda correspondent Darya Aslamova at the border on charges of espionage. According to him, the journalist allegedly collected data for Russian military intelligence, and her actions "were aimed at destabilization."

The publication reported that Aslamova was in Kosovo on the instructions of the editors, now she does not get in touch. According to KP, she was preparing a report on the aggravation of the Serbian-Kosovo conflict.

Updated : Kosovo authorities released Aslamova. She contacted the editors and said that she was in the town of Raska on the Serbian-Kosovo border, KP writes. After she was released, she traveled by bus to the border on her own. According to her, she was not marked for deportation.

At the end of July, shooting began in the border areas of Kosovo and Serbia. Local residents were urged not to leave their homes, the armed forces blocked the road to Serbia. The reason was the statement of the Kosovo authorities that from August 1 they intend to ban entry on Serbian documents. It was planned to issue a temporary certificate to their owners. It was also announced the start of mandatory re-registration of cars, Kosovo Serbs had until September 31 to re-register their cars with Serbian numbers. Later, it was decided to postpone the implementation of decisions on car numbers and personal documents until September 1.
