The Armed Forces of Ukraine are successfully developing an offensive in the Kharkiv direction. Judging by the messages in social networks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to reach the banks of the Oskol River, the outskirts of an important railway junction, the city of Kupyansk, and probably occupy its western regions: the city bridge across the river was blown up by the departing Russian units. According to The Insider sources, there are fights for the railway station in Kupyansk.
At the same time, Ukrainian forces apparently launched an operation to envelop the Russian group in the city of Izyum from the southern flank, starting to storm the city of Liman.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation passed over in silence the actual collapse of the front in today's briefing . Meanwhile, state news agencies and Russian war correspondents are spreading footage of the transfer of reinforcements near Kupyansk and Izyum. Trucks Ural-4320, BTR-80, KSHM R- 149MA1 , armored vehicles ASN 233115 "Tigr-M SpN" and KamAZ-63968 "Typhoon-K", TOS-1A, MLRS BM-27 "Hurricane", ZRPK " Pantsir-S1" and S-300.
As reported in the pro-Russian telegram channels, the Taman division ended up in a semicircle in the Izyum region. The division commander Vladimir Zavadsky allegedly already left the city along with the wounded. The Insider's interlocutors confirmed that the defense of Izyum is indeed being carried out by the Taman division. The location of the 80th Airmobile Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has documents of at least one killed and one wounded soldier of the division who was taken prisoner.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine spread information that during the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for the first time in the entire war, it was possible to completely defeat an entire regiment of the RF Armed Forces - the 237th Airborne Assault Regiment stationed in Pskov, which lost almost all military personnel killed or wounded.
The Ukrainian army is actively using equipment supplied by the Western allies in the Kharkiv direction: M113AS4 and M113G4DK tracked armored personnel carriers from Australia and Denmark, Polish T-72M1 tanks and Krab self-propelled artillery mounts, German PzH 2000 self-propelled howitzers, as well as American HIMARS and British M270 MLRS, American off-road vehicles HMMWV, Turkish Kirpi armored vehicles.
The disorganization of the combat formations of the RF Armed Forces and the panic among the personnel are evidenced by photo and video materials with captured and destroyed equipment, which are posted by Ukrainian servicemen. In particular, it is known that the Russian side lost a rare BMP-2M with a combat compartment (B05Ya01) Berezhok, a radar station from the 1L261 Zoopark-1M counter-battery system, a 9A331 combat vehicle of the 9K331 Tor-M1 anti-aircraft missile system.
A video is circulating on social networks, as they say, of one of the episodes of the current battles with a completely tragicomic plot: leaving one (sic!) Ukrainian SOF fighter, a Russian tank on the move loses soldiers riding on armor and crashes into a tree.
