So far, only the cooks have confessed to their deeds and received sentences. The Reutov garrison court sentenced them to terms of 2 to 4 years in prison with a suspended sentence. The chefs were also fined from 250 to 400 thousand rubles.
Earlier in August, the "Dossier" found out that the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Guard, Viktor Zolotov, flew to the Seychelles for three years in a row in the company of the main supplier of products for the Russian Guard (Director of the Crimean plant "Friendship of Peoples" Boris Vaninsky), as well as other military men. In August 2018, Alexei Navalny, in his investigation, said that the National Guard spent more than two billion rubles to buy cabbage, carrots and potatoes from the Friendship of Peoples at a price three times higher than the retail market. In 2021, the Russian Guard signed contracts worth more than 11 billion rubles with the Friendship of Peoples.
