Crimean Governor Sergei Aksyonov promised that the authorities would persecute people who chant pro-Ukrainian slogans and sing Ukrainian songs. His appeal was published in Telegram.

“I want to inform the Crimeans that according to all the facts revealed in the public domain, and according to operational information that Ukrainian slogans are chanted at public events, songs and nationalist hymns are sung, they will be punished in a criminal manner,” he added. The head of the region called such people traitors.

According to Aksyonov, residents of Crimea will be identified by video recordings, fired from their jobs and their businesses closed.

Earlier in the Crimea, restrictions were imposed on the use of pyrotechnics and drones. The corresponding ban was enshrined in amendments to the decree of the head of the republic "On the threat of an emergency situation that arose on the territory of the Republic of Crimea." Currently, the "yellow" level of terrorist danger operates on the territory of the peninsula, the last time it was extended until September 23.
