Not only rapists and murderers, but also a cannibal maniac went to war in Ukraine from Russian colonies, said Olga Romanova, a human rights activist and head of the Rus Seated Foundation, on the Popular Politics YouTube channel. According to her, the co-owner of PMC Wagner Yevgeny Prigozhin has already recruited up to 10 thousand prisoners.
“They take all the articles, but give preference, Prigogine said about this, to murderers and those who were engaged in robbery and robbery. They also take well those who went to jail for causing grievous bodily harm. And now people who have been convicted of rape have begun to be taken, but they are in a separate detachment. We know two stories from the Saratov zones, from absolutely terrible zones, there is one very special there. From there they took a maniac who, so to speak, has cannibalism in his portfolio. He also went to war.
Romanova notes that there are at least 7,000 recruits, but it is more likely that we are talking about 10,000.
According to her, PMC Wagner, in search of "cannon fodder", has already gone "on the second and third run." And this is the fourth time people come to the Leningrad colony Yablonevka to recruit. However, so far the geography of recruitment is limited to the regions of Central Russia. “The northernmost part is Komi, Syktyvkar, the southernmost is Adygea, the easternmost is Tatarstan, the westernmost is the Pskov and Smolensk regions. For some reason, they do not go east of Tatarstan,” says the human rights activist.
The day before, a video appeared on social networks, where "Putin's cook" Prigozhin recruits prisoners of IK-6 in Yoshkar-Ola for the war. He mentions PMC Wagner several times, talks about the conditions of service, and also reports that convicts will be shot for desertion:
“I only want stormtroopers. <…> Those who move forward, those who are the most greyhounds, they survive better. Those who give back, do not understand what to do, get in the ass.
Romanova notes that prisoners sign up for the war willingly and not even because of money. “It is the relatives who want money, and the prisoners want to leave this matrix, get out, go anywhere, because any place on earth is better than a Russian prison.”
