Prosecutor General of the “LNR” Sergei Gorenko died in an explosion in his office – “Interfax”

Prosecutor General of the so-called LPR Sergey Gorenko died in an explosion in his own office in the building of the Prosecutor General's Office of Luhansk. This was reported by Interfax, citing a source. Also, the pro-Russian war correspondent Yuri Kotenok and Telegram channel 112 wrote about the death of Gorenko. Officially, the "authorities" of the republic did not confirm the information. Updated: RIA Novosti and TASS confirm the information about the death of Gorenko. RIA refers to the assistant to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic. Interfax reported, citing the city's emergency services, that Deputy Prosecutor General of the "LPR" Ekaterina Steglenko also died after the explosion. Before that, TASS, citing a source, reported that Gorenko was wounded in the explosion. According to an officer of the People's Militia of the "LPR", an improvised explosive device went off in the building. Previously, it was a terrorist attack, the agency writes. Earlier, TASS reported about the explosion in the office of the Prosecutor General of the “LPR”, citing a source in the department. Employees of the prosecutor's office were evacuated , the Ministry of Emergency Situations and sappers are working at the scene. According to a Baza source , one person was killed and one injured, their identities were not specified. Andrei Marochko, a representative of the people's militia of the "LNR", also reported about the victims.
