Former Dozhd journalist Denis Kabakov, who is also an employee of Alexei Navalny's headquarters in St. Petersburg, was detained by the FSB on the border with Kazakhstan. It is reported by "Rotonda". Kabakov was stopped at the Isilkul border checkpoint, after which they were interrogated for about two hours.

In particular, the FSB was interested in the activities of the opposition in St. Petersburg and ex-employees of Navalny's headquarters. After an interrogation, he was forced to sign a paper on criminal liability for trying to leave Russia, taken away from the border and released.

Earlier, lawyer Pavel Chikov wrote that such papers began to be issued at the border. They report that a citizen's right to leave is "temporarily restricted" on the basis of a decision of the military commissariat.

On September 24, while covering a rally against mobilization in Arkhangelsk, RusNews journalist Andrey Kichev was detained, despite the fact that he was wearing a press vest and had an identity card and an editorial assignment with him. He was given a notice.
