Russian-appointed member of the occupying "administration" of the Zaporozhye region, Vladimir Rogov, on the morning of September 30, commented on the strike in Zaporozhye, in fact recognizing it. In his Telegram channel, he wrote that it is “loud today” in the regional center and that strikes are being carried out on “military facilities and civilian infrastructure facilities” used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

He also wrote that on the morning of September 30, a series of explosions sounded in the city, his “compatriots” counted about “two dozen”, and the work of air defense was heard. However, he then assured that the strikes were on military installations, civilian infrastructure facilities that are used by "Zelensky's militants and foreign mercenaries" as military bases and places to store weapons with ammunition.

“High-precision cruise missiles do not pose a threat to the civilian population. With an accuracy of several meters, they hit military and other objects involved by a gang of drug addicts and Nazis for the war.

After that, the pro-Russian official added that all cases of rocket fragments falling on residential buildings “are caused by the inept actions of Zelensky’s krivoruk air defense officers.” It turns out that Rogov recognized the Russian strikes, although he did not write about them directly, and attributed the death of people and damage to infrastructure to the work of Ukrainian air defense systems after the strikes.

“They are constantly shooting down rockets over residential areas (as they were this morning), sleeping them out of the city and not giving a damn about the safety of the inhabitants of the city.”

An hour and a half later, RIA Novosti cites another statement by Rogov, which already says that it was "Ukrainian troops that hit a column of cars with civilians." A new post also appears on Rogov's Telegram channel, claiming that Zelensky is "taking revenge for reunification with Russia." A pro-Russian official cites data on 23 dead and 34 wounded civilian Cossacks and writes that the Ukrainians "fired on themselves."

“This is a classic provocation in the Anglo-Saxon style against the disloyal civilian population... This was done according to the classic formula “they fired on themselves” with subsequent accusations against Russia.”

On the morning of September 30, the head of the Zaporozhye regional administration Oleksandr Starukh said that the Russian military launched a missile attack on a humanitarian convoy on the outskirts of Zaporozhye. 23 civilians were killed and 28 were injured. All of them stood in line to leave for the temporarily occupied territory to pick up their relatives and bring help. According to preliminary information, 16 missiles were fired using the S-300 air defense system, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko said . According to him, four rocket strikes were carried out in the area of the car market, at the point of concentration of vehicles and citizens for leaving the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
