Mobilized Russians will not be compensated for the cost of uniforms and medicines, which they buy at their own expense. This was reported on the government website "Explain.RF".

Since the beginning of the announcement of a "partial" mobilization, the authorities have denied reports of a shortage of equipment for the mobilized. Meanwhile, even on the government resource, conscripts are advised to take quadrocopters and night vision devices with them to the military unit, and in some units they are asked to buy bulletproof vests and dressings.

The Insider found that the wives of mobilized Russians are discussing in Telegram chats that it costs about 150,000 rubles to assemble a husband for war. In addition, women are advised to give mobilized tampons with them, which can be used to plug bullet wounds, and pads instead of insoles in shoes.

Earlier, a video appeared on social networks in which those mobilized in the Belgorod region talk about “bestial conditions”, the terrible attitude of officers towards them, and that they were given decommissioned weapons from the 1970s. The man in the video claims that there are about 500 of them, they are not assigned to any unit, they lived for a week without material support, they are forced to spend their money on food and uniforms, many of them got sick because they practically live on the street.
