Russia has become the main supplier of military equipment for Ukraine, writes The Wall Street Journal, citing military data analysts and sources. The publication calculated that, according to these indicators, it was ahead of the United States and other allies of Ukraine.

According to the newspaper, only during the offensive in the Kharkiv direction, the Karpatska Sich battalion captured 10 Russian T-80 tanks and 5 2S5 Giacint howitzers in Izyum.

In total, the Armed Forces of Ukraine captured during the counteroffensive in the east:

▪️460 invader tanks,

▪️92 self-propelled howitzers,

▪️448 infantry fighting vehicles,

▪️195 armored combat vehicles,

▪️44 MLRS.

The publication notes that in reality the captured equipment can be much more.

“We have so many trophies that we don't even know what to do with them. We started as an infantry battalion, and now we seem to be becoming a mechanized battalion,” said Ruslan Andreiko, deputy chief of staff of the Carpathian Sich battalion.

Since the beginning of the war, Ukraine has received about $15 billion worth of weapons from Western countries. The largest suppliers are the United States ($8.79 billion), Poland ($1.83 billion), Great Britain ($1.36 billion) and Canada ($950 million).
