As a result of the shelling of the Shevchenkovsky district of Kyiv, 8 people were killed and 24 wounded – Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine

In the Shevchenkovsky district of Kiev, as a result of a missile attack, according to preliminary data, 8 civilians were killed and 24 more were injured, adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Rostislav Smirnov said .

Adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anton Gerashchenko spoke earlier about the five dead.

Also, according to Smirnov, 6 cars caught fire and more than 15 were damaged.

In total, the locals speak of three powerful explosions in the city. One of the rockets flew into a playground in the Taras Shevchenko park in the center of Kyiv.

The shelling also damaged the building of the Philharmonic, the Museum of Bohdan and Varvara Khanenko, and the Shevchenko Museum, said Ukrainian Minister of Culture Oleksandr Tkachenko.

Explosions on October 10 also thundered in the Dnieper, Ternopil, Khmelnitsky, Zhitomir, Lvov, Kharkov, Rivne, Vinnitsa and Ivano-Frankivsk. There are also dead and wounded, their number is still unknown.
