27-year-old welder Maxim Rodionov, who died after being drafted as part of the mobilization at the Elan training center of the Ministry of Defense in the Sverdlovsk region, never used drugs, which refutes the statements made earlier by the State Duma deputy. This was told by the father of the deceased, Alexei Rodionov, to the Caution, News Telegram channel.

State Duma deputy Maxim Ivanov told TASS that the cause of Maxim's death was a "drug overdose", that the man "used illegal substances with another mobilized".

According to his father, after the announcement of the mobilization, his son was very worried, since he had a three-year-old daughter in Snezhinsk. The son had no health problems, so the father does not know what his death may be connected with. The family has not yet received the body of the deceased, the authorities say that an investigation is underway, without specifying the details of the investigation.

“Thoughts about the deputies have always been bad, and now even more so,” the father of the deceased stated.

27-year-old Maxim Rodionov was the fourth to die at the Elan training center of the Ministry of Defense in the Sverdlovsk region. He arrived at the training center of the Ministry of Defense from Snezhinsk, Chelyabinsk region. Earlier, on October 3, the media reported the death of three mobilized at the same training center in Yelan. Reservists are brought there from the Sverdlovsk region and neighboring regions. Then State Duma deputy Maxim Ivanov claimed that one mobilized died of a seizure, and the other committed suicide. The third was commissioned and sent home, where he "immediately died of cirrhosis of the liver."
