During the shelling of Nikolaev on October 13, 8 people were killed. Rescuers have completed the search for bodies under the rubble of a residential building where a Russian missile hit. This was announced by the mayor of the city Alexander Senkevich in the Telegram channel.

He also posted a photo of a partially destroyed home.

“The bodies of six dead have been unblocked from under the rubble of the house. Thus, as a result of the Russian attack on October 13, 8 Nikolaev residents were killed: seven residents of the house and one rescuer who died at the shuttle station while on duty.

Senkevich added that four high-rise buildings were damaged. In one of them, where the rocket hit, now there are two emergency entrances.

On September 30, Senkevich also reported on the shelling of Nikolaev. At night, Russia shelled a residential area, the rocket hit the top floor of one of the houses. Then there were people under the rubble, a fire broke out. No casualties were reported. In addition, on the night of September 30, Russia shelled the Dnieper and Zaporozhye. The head of the Zaporozhye regional administration Oleksandr Starukh said that the Russian military launched a missile attack on a humanitarian convoy at the exit from Zaporozhye, 23 people died and 28 were injured.

Against the background of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south of Ukraine, the Russian troops repeatedly attacked the country's communal infrastructure. As a result of the shelling, the reserve line that supplied the settlements of the Kharkiv region was temporarily out of order, which left the region without electricity. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the infrastructure of the settlements of Veselaya Dolina, Dry Pond, Zaitsevo, New York, Kostromka, Pervomayskoye, Belogorovka, Kam, Stepnoye, Maly Shcherbaki, Belaya Krinitsa, Yuryevka and Mirnoye was damaged from air strikes and shelling of MLRS.
