In Moscow, three more defendants in the case of the explosion on the Crimean bridge were arrested. This is stated in the statement of the press service of the Basmanny Court.

They are accused of committing a "terrorist act" (paragraphs "a, b, c" part 2 of article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Alexander Bylin, Oleg Antipov and Dmitry Heavy were sent into custody until December 8.

“The court ruled to select a preventive measure in the form of detention until December 8, 2022 in relation to Bylin A. G., Antipov O. A., Heavy D. V..”

Earlier, a court in Simferopol arrested five other suspects of involvement in the explosion on the Crimean bridge: brothers Artem and Georgy Azatyan, Roman Solomko, Vladimir Zloba and Artur Terchanyan. On October 14, the Kyiv District Court of Simferopol sent him to a pre-trial detention center until December 8.

On October 12, the FSB announced that the organizer of the explosion on the Crimean bridge on October 8 is the head of military intelligence of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov. Another 12 people were allegedly involved in the attack, 8 of whom had already been detained by October 12. According to the department, the explosives, which were passed off as rolls of film, were sent from Odessa and crossed the borders of Bulgaria, Georgia and Armenia.

On October 8, at about 6 am, an explosion thundered on the automobile part of the Crimean bridge from the side of the Taman Peninsula. A truck exploded on the bridge, which set fire to the tanks of the train, which was walking along the railway part of the bridge. The moment of the explosion was caught on video. The ICR opened a criminal case. Russian President Vladimir Putin, at a meeting with the head of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin, said that the executors and customers of the undermining of the bridge were the special services of Ukraine. Also after the explosion, the President instructed the FSB to strengthen the protection of the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait, the Russia-Crimea power grid bridge and the Krasnodar Territory-Crimea gas pipeline.
