Roskomnadzor blocked Metacritic in Russia, a site with reviews of films, video games and music. They did this because of the page about the game Weedcraft Inc, in which you need to grow marijuana, follows from the register of banned sites of Roskomsvoboda.
Here's how the description of the game on Steam looks like: “Future herbal moguls will have to carefully allocate resources, managing the production and distribution of their product. Grow killer bushes, crossbreed them to create unique varieties of devil's lettuce, hire and manage staff, and get ready for strong competition.
The game, according to the developers, "explores the industry of production, cultivation and distribution of smoking weed in America."
Roskomnadzor blocked the Metacritic page with reviews for this game, but in the end (due to HTTPS blocking), users in Russia no longer open the entire site. The decision to block the Ministry of Internal Affairs was made in 2019, then the game was released. It entered into force on 18 October.
