In several districts of Ufa, Bashkiria, sheep were sacrificed for the well-being of Russian military personnel who are at war in Ukraine. The initiator of the sacrifice was Azat Badranov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic, who had previously volunteered for a "special operation", he announced the "rite of sacrifice with collective prayer" on his page on VKontakte.

“According to the tradition of our peoples, we decided to hold kurban-ashy, a ritual of sacrifice with collective prayer. We plan to read prayers in 16 mosques of the republic, on Saturday (12.00), for all our brothers who are already doing their duty in the NWO zone and are just going there, so that everyone returns alive and healthy. The choice of mosques is determined by the native places of our loved ones, who are already there and who are going there in the near future.”

According to him, in mosques one could approach the imam and give the names of "sons, brothers, husbands and just relatives who protect the interests of the country on the western borders."

Later, photos from the ceremonies appeared in the official channel of the head of the Bizhbulyak district administration:

According to him, rituals of sacrifice and collective prayers were held in the mosques for "the guys taking part in the special military operation in Ukraine."

Earlier in October, the families of those mobilized in Bashkiria complained that instead of the payment of 200 thousand rubles promised by the Russian authorities and the salaries of "recruits", they receive about 1,800 rubles. The wife of Sergeant Sergei Putenikhin, who was mobilized on September 27,told the local publication Ufa1.ru that the serviceman's family received a payment of 1,845 rubles 45 kopecks.

The Russian authorities support mobilized and servicemen, as well as their relatives, in different ways. On Sakhalin, the families of mobilized Russians were promised to be given 5 kg of fish, and the head of Tuva, Vladislav Khovalyg , instructed to give families a live sheep and coal for each mobilized Tuvan. Families were also promised 50 kg of flour and two sacks of potatoes for sending a family member to the war in Ukraine.

The family receives a one-time payment of 7.4 million rubles from the government for the death of a Russian serviceman. After the war, Vladimir Putin signed a decree according to which an additional 5 million rubles are allocated to the family of the deceased - in total, families receive 12.4 million. Compensation is transferred in equal shares to the parents of the deceased, his wife and children. Also, the relatives of the victims will receive benefits for life: if there are three relatives, they pay 5.2 thousand rubles each, if two - 6.9 thousand rubles each, one relative will receive 10.4 thousand rubles a month.
