A resident of Omsk opened a criminal case for insulting Ukrainians because of the post

A resident of Omsk was charged with insulting Ukrainians on a national basis because of his post on the VKontakte social network. It is noted that the person involved in the case had previously been included in the register of extremists and terrorists.

At the moment, the post has already been deleted, its essence is not disclosed. According to media reports, the author of the post had previously been repeatedly prosecuted for insulting on ethnic and gender grounds.

In Russia, the case with the wording “offending Ukrainians” was the first since the beginning of the war.

On October 24, the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin , instructed to check the words of propagandist Anton Krasovsky, who called for Ukrainian children to be “drowned or burned”.
