In the recently liberated territories of Ukraine, a total of more than a thousand bodies of the dead were exhumed. Oleg Kotenko, Commissioner for Missing Persons of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, announced this.
He stressed that almost 450 corpses were found in Izyum. After liberation from Russian occupation, one of the most mass graves was discovered there. Among the dead, Kotenko said, were not only the military, but also civilians, including children.
In almost every city liberated from Russian occupation, mass graves of local residents are found, as well as signs of genocide. So, according to the Ukrainian authorities, two mass graves were found in Liman: one contains about 200 bodies, the second contains about 20. In early October, the first 20 bodies were taken from a mass grave in the city, including the remains of a family with two small children.
