On the evening of October 13, explosions thundered near the village of Oktyabrsky, after which a fire broke out. Baza reported that several employees of the National Guard were killed, and 14 more were injured of varying severity. In addition, on October 15, according to the Ministry of Defense, two citizens of "one of the CIS countries" opened fire at a training ground in the Belgorod region.
