The Russian government has added to the list of "unfriendly" countries and territories. According to Interfax, the list includes 11 British Overseas Territories that supported sanctions against Russia.
Bermuda, British Antarctic Territory, British Indian Ocean Territory, Cayman Islands, Falkland Islands, Montserrat, Pitcairn Islands, Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, Akrotiri and Dhekelia, Turks and Caicos.
Now all 14 British Overseas Territories are included in the list of "unfriendly countries".
In July, this list included Greece, Denmark, Slovenia, Croatia and Slovakia. Now the list includes all EU countries, as well as:
- Great Britain
- New Zealand
- The Republic of Korea
- San Marino
- North Macedonia
The list of unfriendly states and territories is a list of foreign states and territories that, in the opinion of the Russian authorities, are committing "unfriendly actions" against Russia, Russian legal entities and individuals.
In April 2021, Putin, by his decree, banned the employment of "individuals located on the territory of the Russian Federation" by diplomatic missions of countries that commit "unfriendly actions" against Russia.
