In Rostov-on-Don, employees of the Plastic Electrical Products Plant (PEMI) are forcibly sent to a “military subbotnik” at the 183rd Training Center of the Ministry of Defense, they want to coincide with the event to coincide with National Unity Day, which is celebrated in Russia on November 4. This is reported by the Telegram channel of the project "We can explain" with reference to sources.

The director of the plant said that they would participate in the subbotnik on a voluntary-compulsory basis. According to him, during the action, the factory workers will clean up the territory of the center of the Ministry of Defense and help him. How exactly is not specified. The center trains military personnel with secondary vocational education for the Russian Armed Forces, as well as trains junior aviation specialists in military specialties.

Earlier, military experts interviewed by The Insider said that mobilization would also be a huge problem for the Russian economy, as the country would have to maintain hundreds of thousands of troops. Retired SBU Major General Viktor Yagun and military expert Sergei Grabsky noted that the country will need to provide, clothe and feed these 300 thousand mobilized, while about 100-200 thousand people left Russia. As a result, the Russian economy will lose at least half a million workers. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW), in turn, came to the conclusion that the mobilization announced by Putin will not deprive Ukraine of the opportunity to liberate most of the occupied territories in the winter.
