The occupying authorities declared a round-the-clock curfew in Kherson. It is reported by RIA Novosti.
“A curfew has been declared in the city of Kherson, which will last 24 hours, around the clock,” Kirill Stremousov, a representative of the Russian-appointed “administration” of the Kherson region, said in a video message.
He stated that “enemy equipment was seen in some areas” and recommended that residents leave the city and “not turn into a target for those who will shoot.”
According to Stremousov, terrorist attacks and provocations are possible. He urged the inhabitants of Kherson to leave the city on the left bank of the Dnieper.
“Give the military an opportunity to clear the city of the Nazis and go on the offensive in the Nikolaev and Odessa directions,” he added.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier that the population of Kherson should be "removed from the zone of the most dangerous actions." “The civilian population should not suffer from shelling, any offensive actions and activities related to military operations,” he said.
