Gossip journalist Tamerlan Bigaev was arrested in the case of extortion from the head of Rostec, Sergei Chemezov.
Bigaev was detained on 4 November. Initially, he was summoned for interrogation as a witness, but after many hours of interrogation, the investigator said that now his status had changed to a suspect under the “extortion” article. On November 5, the journalist was arrested for two months.
At the same time, according to Baza, the journalist did not know about any negotiations with Chemezov’s side and did not participate in the transfer of money. Tamerlane’s colleagues do not believe in his guilt. Bigaev worked as one of the admins and writers of the “Extinguish the Light” channel.
According to investigators, this channel published fast, which was then removed after an agreement on payment between Chemezov’s party and Ksenia Sobchak’s commercial director – Kirill Sukhanov.
