In the Piedmont District of the Stavropol Territory, schoolchildren were attracted to participate in the All-Russian action "Warmth of the native home." They knit socks for the military with Z-symbols. According to the official Telegram channel of the district administration, the children knitted about 200 pairs of socks.
“Woolen products will have distinctive Z and V symbols, and the children also drew postcards and wrote letters for each pair of socks,” the message says.
On October 17, in schools in Orenburg, parents of students were required to buy clothes, medicines and household items for the Russian military in Ukraine. The list with things was sent to educational institutions by the city Council of Women. Parents were required to purchase underpants, socks, warm clothes, shoes, bandages, plasters, power banks, toilet paper, and so on. In addition, the Women's Union asks parents and children to put drawings and letters "to soldiers with kind, warm words" in boxes with parcels. Those who refuse to buy things for the military are shamed. Such parents and students are told that they "do not love their homeland and do not want to help the army."
