The search at Semyonov’s place took place on October 14: the activist was brought to the investigation from the special detention center, where he was serving 10 days of arrest, allegedly for “disobedience to the police.” On October 15, the public man was sent under house arrest.
In 2018-2020, Aleksey Semenov participated in a protest against the construction of a landfill on the border of the Komi Republic and the Arkhangelsk region (Shiyes).
