The famous Italian fashion designer Renato Balestra has died in Rome at the age of 99.
He first studied engineering, but that all changed when he created his own fashion design on a bet.
Balestra has made stage costumes for movie stars such as Ava Gardner, Gina Lollobrigida, Sophia Loren, Natalie Wood, Elizabeth Taylor, Claudia Cardinale, and has also dressed members of several royal families.
